Out and About: The Spirit of Communities (3 Credits)

This course will give educators a snapshot of the histories and makeup of a variety of southeastern communities. Students will acquire numerous community/educational resources by immerse yourself in the heart and spirit of community while examining the different aspects of what makes up a community. Experience the history, sights, sounds, and tastes of different communities one day at a time. We will visit local businesses and chat with neighborhood residents. Students will participate in a community scavenger hunt to discover the local trivia. Pre K-12
