Mindfulness Tools for Daily Life **HYBRID COURSE** (3 Credits)

In this course you will learn how to train your mind so that you can be more present and enjoy this one precious life you have. Skills learned in this class include focusing attention, unhooking from worry and stress, mindful movement, befriending the difficult, and appreciating what is beautiful. Our class text will focus on the teenage brain and mindfulness strategies for teens, though the strategies you learn in this class will be applicable both to you personally and to children of all ages. Art will be used in this class as a tool for cultivating mindfulness as well as a method for sharing knowledge. This class will meet in person on Thursdays from 6:00-9:00pm.
