Abandoning the Myth of the Nuclear Family (1 Credit)

Children in today’s classrooms come from many diverse family and ethnic groups. This class will delve into the various family types and look at methods to reach every child. There is more than one way to parent or be a family. Families with children can be comprised of single, divorced, traditional, multi-generational, blended, foster, adoptive, gay, lesbian, and transgender parents.
